ANDERSON — Ryan A. Phillips, 28, of Anderson, passed away Feb. 3, 2009, as a result of injuries related to a traffic accident.
He was born July 26, 1980, in Anderson, and was a lifelong Anderson resident. He graduated in 1998 from Anderson High School and received an electrical degree from Ivy Tech.
He worked for the City of Anderson Light and Power for eight years and the past six months for CAT Communications, Inc.
Ryan was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt, fish and ride his 4-wheel ATV.
He is survived by his wife of 14 months, Ivy C. Phillips of Anderson; four children, Rylee Phillips, Jaxin Phillips, Braden Nance and Charlee Grace Phillips; parents, Allan D. and Joan I. Phillips of Anderson; brother, Matthew R. Phillips of Anderson; maternal grandparents, Grace and Wallace “Woody” Woodcox of Anderson; paternal grandparents, Barbara Phillips and Gerald Creason of Anderson; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lorri Muncy and Terri Lyons of Anderson; sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, Kelly and Paul Clausen of Elwood and Bill Lyons and Joseph Smith of Anderson; aunts and uncles, Karen and Paul Mills of Tennessee, Sherry and Tom Cady of Arizona, Dante and Connie Phillips, Mark and Rhonda Phillips, Scott Phillips, Chris and Robin Phillips, all of Anderson, Paul Branham of Florida, Wesley and Lori Branham of Markleville, Scott and Kati Branham of Texas, Marc Muncy and Ed Roberts of Shirley, Ed Muncy of Anderson and Marci Muncy of Kokomo; and several cousins.
Ryan was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Otis C. Phillips and Wayne Branham; and grandmother, Nila Lyons.
Services will be conducted at noon Monday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, officiated by Skip Ockomon. Burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Oh my goodness... I am sorry Brandon. I knew 2 were from Anderson. Everyone who was involved are in my prayers.
